Privacy Policies and Terms of Use
1. Nature of the Service
mimicam is a real-time file exchange technological platform designed for social and corporate events. We act exclusively as technical intermediaries, providing the tools for users to capture, share, and view photographs.
2. User Hierarchy and Permissions
To ensure event security, the system imposes the following restrictions per role:
Organizer (Event Admin)
- Full control over event configuration (name, date, visibility).
- Watermark management and QR code customization (subject to plan).
- Ability to invite and revoke access for Moderators.
- Access to bulk content download (ZIP) and usage statistics.
- Solely authorized to perform plan upgrades or purchase extra storage.

Moderators
- Can approve, reject, or delete photographs from the gallery in real-time.
- Access to management view to filter inappropriate content.
- Restrictions: They cannot modify event settings, do not have access to billing, and cannot delete the event created by the Organizer.
Guests
- Access via QR code scan or direct link without mandatory registration (depending on configuration).
- Can upload photographs while respecting weight limits and system optimization.
- Viewing of the public gallery authorized by the Organizer.
- Restrictions: They do not have access to moderation tools and cannot view or download photos from other users in bulk.
3. Capacities and Retention by Plan
The Organizer accepts the technical limitations of each contracted plan:

Note: Retention time starts automatically when the first photo is uploaded. At the end of the period, the system will execute an irreversible purge process.
4. Legal Liability Disclaimer
**mimicam** does not pre-view or automatically filter content uploaded by guests.** It is the exclusive responsibility of the Organizer to supervise their event and use moderation tools to remove any image that:**
- Infringes copyright or intellectual property.
- Shows illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or violent content.
- Violates the privacy or honor of third parties without their explicit consent.
By using our platform, the Organizer releases mimicam from any claim, damage, or civil liability derived from the misuse of the service or the images published by their guests.
5. Affiliate Program Terms
Our rewards system is subject to the following transparency rules:
- Mechanics: The affiliate receives commissions of 5%, 10%, or 15% on the net value of plans paid by their referrals.
- Extra Bonus: An additional +2% lifetime commission will be granted to ambassadors who complete more than 10 paid events successfully.
- Self-Purchase Restriction: Using one's own affiliate code for personal benefit is not allowed. The system detects and cancels commissions generated by the same user.
- One-Time Use Code: The discount benefit for the referred user is valid only for their first transition from a Free plan to a paid plan.
- Payments: Commissions are settled within 72 business hours via bank transfer (Chile) or PayPal (International) after confirmation of payment non-dispute.
6. Payment and Refund Policy
Given the digital and immediate nature of the image storage and processing service, refund requests will not be accepted once the event has been activated (first photo upload) or a bulk content download has been performed.
